EssayShark.com Review

EssayShark.com Review

I had really high hopes for this service. I mean; the website looks pretty nice and the fact that you get to choose your own writer does seem attractive. As I browsed through the EssayShark.com, however, I started liking it less and less. The prices are not clear, since it’s a bidding service after all. These are freelance writers with no proper qualifications regarding the topics they cover. Their profiles do not provide information on education and you don’t even know if they hold a degree.

Overall, the experience with EssayShark was disappointing. Read my review to find out more.

Services Review

You get an option to choose the type of paper when you place the order. The list of services is versatile enough. It includes essay, research paper, term paper, coursework, case study, annotated bibliography, article review, presentation or speech, critical thinking assignment, and more.

Plus, there’s an option other in the dropdown menu, which means you can practically order anything. It’s a bidding service, so you simply place the order and wait to see if any writer will make an offer for the completion of such project.

Prices Review

I expected EssayShark.com to be cheaper when compared to traditional writing services. Since there’s competition among the writers, I believed they would set competitive prices. That’s not the case. I set a deadline of 10 days for my essay and the lowest bid I got was $20. That’s even more expensive than traditional writing services, and you do not get any discount here!

Why is this a problem? I wouldn’t mind paying more for a truly professional service. However, with EssayShark, you waste time. You have to wait for the bids and review the order history of the bidders before you choose the writer. That took me an entire day. If this was an extremely urgent order of two days, for example, it would be a big problem.

Plus, these writers are not experts. They are rewriters. When you consider that fact, the prices they set are pretty expensive.

Content Quality

I got a very simple 5-paragraph essay. The structure was nice and there was symmetry between the paragraphs. There was a pretty clear thesis statement and convincing arguments. At first sight, it was a fine paper. However, the writer did not bother to include any unique elements in the discussion. The essay lacked personality. It was a rewritten Wikipedia page, and Wikipedia was even included as a source in the reference list.

I don’t think such an essay is worthy of my money.

Customer Service Agents

There is no 24/7 customer service on this website. There is a chat feature in the customer’s profile, which connects them with the writer directly. However, my writer was not responsive at all. I asked specific questions on the progress and included few more instructions, and he just kept responding with ok, sure. To me, it seemed like he didn’t understand English.

Final Thoughts

The paper wasn’t too bad. Out of 10, I would give it a 6. All other aspects of the service, however, were problematic. EssayShark.com does not have expert writers on its team. That being considered, the bids are usually too high and you can’t count on any discounts.

I would rather spend my money on a reliable traditional service, which would immediately assign a reliable writer to my project. When I had to choose my own writer from EssayShark, there weren’t many options available and I still ended up with the wrong one.

Because of this, I’d recommend you to stay away from EssayShark as the quality of their services is not worth what they charge.
